Pirate Tattoos

The word pirate has its origin from the word- Pirates in Latin which means the marine adventurers. The skulls and the images of the pirates are very commonly used images among the marine tattoos and are used across the world. These tattoos are no more used by the marine people but have successfully tempted the ordinary people. Pirate tattoos depicts the carefree and bold nature of a person. Pirate tattoos are inscribed on the body of the men and women both. The pirate tattoos also symbolizes danger, excitement and the feeling of rebellion. Sometimes people do have the symbol of the pirate ships on the body. Such images are colorful and bold. The images of the pirates from the movie-“The Pirates of Caribbean”, the famous pirate Jack Sparrow is now a very popular pirate image used by the modern youngsters. Some other pirate tattoos are the pirate flags, a bird placed on the shoulder, a treasure chest. Some pirate images have the sword stuck in the skull and also placed in the jaw. Sometime the pirate symbols are used along with fire or waves. The images of women pirates are also very common tattoo symbols used by the people.
