Humans have considered different types of animals as their friends and reflection visible in the tattoo designing also. Animal tattoos are most common ones seen around. Such tattoos can be made on the arm-bands, lower backs, shoulders, ankles, upper back area, chest and any other portion of the body making one look very different and gorgeous. Animal tattoo design was initially very popular among the different native tribes but with time it gained popularity among the other tattoo-lovers also. Animal tattoos are available in different colors which make them look dazzling and one can get various tattoo designs of animals combined with other designs such as flowers, fairies, natural things like the sun, moon and stars. With their different behaviors and characteristics, animals have always attracted the mankind since the first day of civilization and animal tattoos have been practiced since then. Human even feared the animals and worshipped them and thus animal tattoos designs were found in very early ages. The most common animals used for tattoo designs are cat, lion, leopard, panther, snake and horse. Cat tattoo designs indicate simple minded person. To represent pride and courage lion tattoos were made while the snake tattoos were used to symbolize wisdom in some places and cunningness in others.
